Our Story
Our company began in Istanbul in 2008 under the name Limousine Plus, carrying guests between the airports and the city. It has since grown into Coşar Turizm, a licensed company with a family of brands, each doing one job. Istanbul Airport Taxi Services is the brand for one simple journey: the ride from the airport to your door.
How Did the Company Begin?
Limousine Plus was the original business and is still the company's main fleet operation. From its first years, the work centred on Istanbul's airports, where the same problems came up again and again: a price that nobody had agreed in advance, a driver the guest had never been told about, and nobody to call if something went wrong.
Those problems shaped the way the company works today. It employs its own drivers, operates its own vehicles and answers its own telephone, so that the name on your booking is the name that collects you.
Why a Separate Brand for Airport Taxis?
Not every traveller wants the same thing. Some want a greeter inside the terminal, others a chauffeur for the day, and many simply want a clean car, a fair fixed price and a driver who is there when they land. As the company grew, it gave each of those needs its own brand and its own website, so that you can find the service you need without wading through the rest.
This brand is for that last group. We keep the offer simple on purpose: six kinds of vehicle, two airports and one published fare for each district.
Why Do We Publish Our Fares?
An airport ride should not begin with an argument about the price. We publish the fare for all 37 districts on our taxi fares page, so that you can check it before you even write to us. We then confirm it in writing before you fly, and that is the amount you pay.
Who Stands Behind the Brand Today?
