How Much Luggage Fits in a Taxi
Count your large suitcases before you count your passengers, because luggage usually decides the size of your taxi. In our fleet, the sedan takes 2 large suitcases, the minivan takes 6, and the group taxi takes up to 12. If your bags will not fit, you need a larger vehicle, so it is better to tell us before you land.

What Counts as a Large Suitcase?
As a rule of thumb, count anything that goes in the aircraft hold as large, and anything that fits in the overhead locker as cabin. Golf bags, skis, pushchairs and musical instruments take up more room than their weight suggests, so tell us about them when you book.
How Do I Choose the Right Size?
- One or two people with one or two large cases: a sedan
- Three people with three large cases: a minivan, not a sedan
- A family with a pushchair: a minivan
- Seven or more people: a group taxi
- Four people who want more room and have four cases: the V-Class
What About a Taxi From the Rank?
Rank taxis at Istanbul Airport vary in size. The airport says the turquoise and black types were introduced for travellers who need more trunk space and seats, and they cost more than the orange type. If you have a lot of luggage, check that it fits before you set off.
